Greetings!

I am excited to share I was notified that this painting, "The architect", was accepted into the Radius 25 show at Salem Art Association (at Bush Barn) in Salem, Oregon.  It will hang there for most of July and August and the reception for the opening will be Friday, July 2nd from 5:00 to 7:00pm.  The address is 600 Mission St SE (if you go and are unfamiliar with how to get there, I suggest checking a map as that address would make it confusing to find).  I cannot wait to see the rest of the art.  The show was open to artists living within 25 miles of Salem so everyone will be local.

Project Space 3 is up and running and I began working down there earlier this month.  I will probably be there through the first week or so of July (depending on the status of my paintings and the availability of the space).  Here are a few photos I have shared on my blog:

The first photo is from the second floor balcony looking down at the installation exhibit which is there for June.  The second shot is of my little space and the three paintings I am working on.  The final photo is of the second floor area (the studio area) taken from where where I work.

You can see more great photographs of Project Space by going to this web site:  saaprojectspace.org  They are even keeping a blog.  You might even find a photo of me....

New Paintings

These new paintings are painted in oil and might look a bit different than my previous work.  I am trying out something new, starting the painting in a different way, and am enjoying the process very much.  Both of these paintings are hanging in my studio area down at Project Space.  Since I am working the paintings down there from the same starting point, I though it would be nice to show a couple of finished ones.

Enjoying the oil paint, taking my time, some new elements (birds seem to be coming back).  I look forward to sharing some more soon.

Thanks everyone,
Elizabeth
