Summer seems to be quickly passing me by. I have recently finished my time at Project Space 3 in downtown Salem, Oregon. It was a great experience. I loved meeting the other artists connected with Project Space and having all that space to try out some large pieces was very helpful. One wonderful result of being down there is that I am now painting furiously to finish a bunch of paintings by the end of the month for a show probably in September. I'll share more about that next month. It came about as a bit of a surprise so needless to say I am feeling a little stressed. However, stress can be good and I will be getting many more paintings completed, I suspect, this month than I might have otherwise. The paintings below are part of this large batch.
One other quick update, I did some work on my web site so if you haven't visited it recently please take a look when you have a moment: elizabethbaumanart.com Some of the larger changes took place on the Gallery pages including a page for available work which I removed from my Etsy shop. I still have the Etsy shop and some paintings and prints are still there, but right now my plan is to eventually close the shop. When I'm not sure but possibly in a few months. One of a few changes I am making on the internet to simplify things. The hope is I will have more time to paint.
